Hi Dan,
well, the FAQ-link you mention seems to be broken?
-Alas, let me ask you a question regarding Armor Raiders: My helicopter may pick up soldiers, but how do I get them off the heli once again?
I remember those good old days of Rescue Raiders on the Apple ][ : There, one could make them air born or release them whilst the heli was on the ground.

Ah.. -found it out myself: double-tapping the heli makes the guys parachuting
